"Drag yourself out for Summer"
The Sisterhood of the Traveling Banbaji bring you Busan's first ever Drag King and Queen Prom!
Summer's finally here, so whether you're a disco diva, a wallflower or a leading man it's time for you to get all gussied-up and shake your booty on the best dance floor in town for a good cause!
Entry is 5000won with proceeds going to ChinguSai (Between Friends) a non-profit human rights organization that has worked tirelessly in the Korean gay community for the past 20 years as a welcoming safe haven, promoting AIDS and HIV education and prevention with a view to creating a society without discrimination.
Why wait until Halloween to get dressed up?! We want big hair, outrageous makeup, the prettiest/ugliest prom dress you can find.. there are no limits! Glitter, puffy sleeves, crimped hair, tuxedos, flares.. need we say more?! Anything goes- just make it fabulous!
Our DJ will be spinning the best 70s disco and 80s pop to get you in the mood.. RIP Donna Summers ㅠㅠ!
Almost Famous' crew will be taking care of you all night with drink specials including prom-style punch.. spiked to perfection, of course!
Our photographers will waiting to snap your prom memories at the photo wall as you arrive, and we'll be looking for a prom King and Queen to crown at midnight- so don't be late!

바로 오는 23일! 부산에서 첫 번째로! 드랙 킹(남장 여자)하고, 드랙 퀸(여장 남자)을 뽑는 무도회가 열립니더~
바야흐로 영희와 숙희의 마음이 들뜨는 여름이 왔다, 그죠?
저희는 여러분이 디스코 댄싱 퀸이건 게이건 외계인이건 상관안합니다.. 좋은 취지로 열리는 이번 행사에 화끈하게 분장하고 흔들어재끼러 오이소!
입장료는 오천원이며, 발생하는 수익금은 성소수자 인권단체인 “친구사이”에게로 돌아갑니다. 야들이 20년 넘게 불철주야로 에이즈하고 HIV 교육도 하고예, 우리 사회 내에서 발생하는 모든 동성애 차별에 맞서 싸우고 또 성적 소수자들에게 쉼터도 제공한다 아입니꺼.
만다꼬 할로윈까지 기다립니꺼! 가발은 크면 클수록 좋은 기 가발이고, 치명적인 메이크업, 빤짝이, 곱슬머리, 나팔바지, 턱시도, 별의 별 무도회 드레스까지 다~ 가능합니다! 참고로, 작년에 이명자 회원님이 등산복을 입고 오셨다가 바로 제명이 됐어요~! 고마 있는 대로 깔롱지기고 오이소!
DJ가 엄선한 70년대 디스코와 80년대 팝 음악으로 오색찬란 마이마이 느낌 한 번 제대로 내 보입시더! 내가 바로 행동파! 언제나 베스트 컨디션 아입니까! 김완선 자매님에게 진심으로 리스펙트
경성대 클럽 Almost Famous(올모스트 페이머스)가 서양에서 건너 온 무도회 스타일 드링크와 같은 특별한 메뉴로 여러분이 길거리의 금수가 되어 직립보행을 포기할 때까지 책임집니다!
저희 포토그래퍼도 친히 방문하시어 그날 여러분이 도착하는 순간 사진도 찍어드리고요, 밤 12시에 드랙 무도회 킹이랑 퀸도 뽑으니 늦지 말고 혼저 옵서예!
