Winter may still be here, but Aroi Thai transports your memories of warmer days from the Thai Kingdom.
It is a bit tricky to find this awesome place; it is hidden behind Millak Subyeon-ro, where some nice cafés are facing the river between Millak Intersection and IPark apartments. But once you enter the restaurant, your effort to find it pays off instantly.
The interior is welcoming and comforting, the Thai staff is polite, and the owners/couple are friendly. And of course the food is of paradise, which a chef from Celadon at The Sukhothai Bangkok elaborates.
We could not help but keep ordering food. Besides the food above, we had two kinds of fish; Pla Thod Sauce Samrod (in the main picture, 35,000 won) and Chu Chee Pla Thod (30,000 won). And morning glory (Phad Pak Boong Fai Daeng, 11,000), of course. With every choice, you cannot go wrong here.
In addition, there is one great news for Thai rum lovers. Yes! They have Sangsom, and the price is reasonable.
They also have wine packages you can check out. Reservations are highly recommended and parking space is very limited.
