Spring is knocking on the door and the bright sunshine is whispering around us. If you enjoy this spring over a brunch or tea overlooking a breathtaking ocean view, it will be an unforgettable memory for you and your loved one. Maison de Mare is a sun-drenched paradise and even on a rainy day, the view is beautiful and romantic.
All the food is prepared and cooked fresh and usually the owner cooks the orders one by one, so if you are in a group, you may get food individually. Coffee tends to come later than other beverages, too. But I like the idea that the owner cooks and brews coffee with care and love for customers. I usually prefer a smoothie or yogurt to coffee but I don’t like their smoothies since they use yogurt powder.
There is enough room between tables, and tables and chairs are not identical which brings a unique atmosphere.
There is another kind of brunch, the England brunch which is served with mushroom soup for 10,900 won. There are two kinds of salad (10,000 won), three kinds of tongasu (10,900~13,900 won) and pizza (13,900 won, 15,900 won). The meals mostly are not salty and seem homemade.
A parking lot is right next to the building and you have to get a stamp on your parking receipt. There is one-and-a-half hour time limit for parking only during summer. It is almost always packed during brunch time and it becomes harder to get a table during the summer.
Free WiFi is also available.
