BUSAN, South Korea -- An official with the city of Busan said it will establish free WiFi zones in 400 places, including traditional markets and welfare facilities to reduce the burden of wireless internet service fees on ordinary people and on those in need. The free service will begin next month. 

Busan, The Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning and three telecommunication companies will sponsor the project. 

In total, free WiFi will be established in 400 public spaces by 2015. The total cost of the project will be 2.2 billion won. 

This February, free WiFi service will begin in 70 places including Jagalchi Market, ShinDonga Market and Bujeon Market Town.
