Religious Services

  • For those who wish to attend a midnight mass or a service on Christmas, please check out our religious service page to see which church you would like to attend.

Festival

  • The Christmas Tree Festival is still taking place, and will run through January 6 in Nampo-dong, if you’re looking to see the best in Christmas tree illumination in the city.

Ballet

  • Traditional Christmas favorite The Nutcracker will be have three performances at the Busan Cinema Center.

Nightlife and Food Events

Haeundae

  • Ultra-chic bar The Back Room has an Xmas Eve bash to celebrate the holidays in style.
  • Sharky’s will be hosting a turkey dinner Christmas Eve with all the fixings with great music and  fun for everyone.
  • The Wolfhound will be serving mulled wine and hot toddies in addition to their regular menu, as well as other drink specials for the evening.
  • The Novotel is hosting a Christmas dinner at its restaurant Ventanas, but reservations are required.
  • Many of the major hotels along the beach offer special buffets for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

 Kyungsung

  • HQ Bar is hosting a 10,000-won turkey dinner with the regular ridiculous HQ portions.
  • Ol’55 is open and ready to rock in Christmas with great tunes and the always fun atmosphere.
  • Fully Booked will be open for Christmas Eve, with drinks, games and good books.
  • Eva’s brings back her tasty eggnog for Christmas with the usual revelry you’ve come to expect.

PNU

  • An open mic Christmas party at the Basement with tons of great music and decorations will be sure to get you into the Christmas spirit.
  • The Thirsty Moose is open Xmas Eve to enjoy some great microbrews and holiday spirits.

Gwanganli

  • Sharky’s will be hosting a turkey dinner Christmas Eve with all the fixings with great music and  fun for everyone.
  • Celebrate a Kiwi Christmas with some great New Zealand beer down by the beach.

Christmas Day
