Angle Magazine is delighted to announce that this year we will collaborate with Cheoyong Festival to create a unique showcase of Korean talent from the south of the country. The Cheoyong Angle Southern Show (CASS!) will take place in the Little Hall of the Ulsan Arts and Culture Center on October 11th as a part of the Cheoyong Festival. The festival has always brought a high standard of music to the city, with a number of the Korean performers going on to represent Korea at international music festivals such as Glastonbury.
After the success of Big Day South in Ulsan last April, we decided to bring our focus for events back to the city where we started out. Angle Magazine is thrilled to be working with the festival to bring some of our favorite acts from the southern side of the country to celebrate two years of supporting the arts in the South. Having performed at previous Angle events, we are delighted to welcome November on Earth, Say Sue Me, Graye, Illap, and The March Kings back to Ulsan and excited for performances by Kim Tae Chun and Ska Wakers here for the first time!
Angle Magazine published its first article on September 5th 2013. For a team of volunteers, we’ve grown from just an online website to creating events big and small, publishing print magazines, organising art exhibitions, making a charity Christmas album, selling t-shirts to support local artists, and helping to develop a larger community around the south of the country. This showcase will also double as a celebration of two years of Angle Magazine.
Performances will take place on Sunday October 11th from 12pm until 7pm. The Little Hall seats 450 people and entrance is free. We’d like to invite everyone to join us for our biggest celebration to date and make it an unforgettable one!
