Busan Observatory Opens to the Public For Nighttime Stargazing

The Geumryeonsan Youth Center will open the Busan Citizen’s Observatory to the public to give people the opportunity to gaze at the stars. The observatory is open every Saturday from 7 p.m.-10 p.m. from February through December and admission is free.

The observatory will run the following programs and activities:

△ An astronomy lecture

△ An information session about constellations

△ Observation of the stars and planets

△ Learning about space science through pictures and video

Along with the observation of the sun and stars, visitors can also enjoy a wonderful nightscape of the city.
