Busan Musical Revue is a night of singing and hilarity brought to you by a fabulously talented cast! We'll feature songs from musicals such as Spring Awakening, Rent, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, and Avenue Q!
Haven't heard of these musicals you say? Don't listen to musicals, you (also) say? Who cares! Please come out and support a wonderful cast of individuals who have worked hard to bring you some of the FUNNIEST numbers in new musicals!
This year's theme is titled "Love…Hurts." The first act of the show will be songs about being in Love, but they're not all sappy, trust me
The second act will be songs about how much being in love, or falling out of love sucks. Can I get an amen?!
Admission is free, but we are working in connection with Busan Volunteer who will take donations of money, necessities, and presents to support orphanages in Busan for the upcoming holiday season! Any amount or item you can give is greatly appreciated and will go toward an excellent cause!
This year's musical revue will take place on Sunday December 4th at 5:00 PM at Vinyl Underground in KSU.
Take the green line toward Jangsan and get off at Kyung Sung/ Pukyoung University. Go out of exit 3 and look for a Starbucks. Walk to the left of the Starbucks, and take your first right down a smaller street. Walk about 3 blocks down this street and Vinyl Underground will be on your right. Look for a banana sign!
For Gyeongju people (what up!!):
Buses leave for Busan regularly and pull into the terminal at Nopo-dong. You can get on the subway right from the terminal. You want to take the orange line train toward Seomyeon. At Seomyeon, you will transfer to the green line and can see the above directions from there.
Trains come into the Busan Station subway stop, you will also take the orange line train to Seomyeon, then transfer to the green line and see above directions.
I hope everyone can come out and support local art as well as Busan orphanages! We guarantee good music, good laughs, and good drinks! Thanks for your support!!
