BUSAN, South Korea -- Children in Busan have the lowest rate of oral hygiene in the country according to statistics by the Korean National Mouth Health Organization.

Recent statistics show that only 19.8% of elementary school children brush their teeth at school after lunch, much lower than the national average of 33.8%.

Currently, 42.4% of elementary school first graders, 85.6% of middle schools first graders, and 77.9% of high school first graders are suffering from stomatopathy, or mouth diseases.
