Busan I’Park Player Profile: Han Sang-woon

Number: 20

Position: Forward

DOB: 3 May 1986

Height: 1.82 m

Years Pro: 3

Han Sang-woon is one of the best offensive threats of the I'Park this season. The third-year player has been driving defenses crazy with his quick speed, and ability to be in the right place at the right time. We gave him a few questions about the season thus far.

1. Your birthday was May 3rd. How did you spend your birthday?

Lots of my fans came to the clubhouse and celebrated my birthday. I felt so happy and on the same day, our team went to Gangwon, so I was able to see my parents. It was one of my best days since I debuted as a pro soccer player.

2. Busan I’Park is on the rise these days. You are one of the main reasons why they are on the upswing. What’s your secret?

It’s not because only me, our whole team is on the rise, especially Lim Sang-hyup or Han Ji-ho are very fast and they make other players on the other team tired. So, it was easier for me to score goals.

3. Your fans are curious about your role models. Is there any other player that you try to take after?

I use my left foot mostly, so i model myself after Ryan Giggs from Manchester United who is a left foot specialist, and recently Daniele De Maria. I really enjoy their style of play.

4. What’s your goal for this year?

My goal for this season is that our team finishes in the top six, and personally I hope to score more than 10 goals. I want to help my team offensively, and score as many goals as I can.

5. For you, what does soccer mean to you?

For me, I always want to do well, never want to lose, score a lot of goals, and I want to be proud of myself. So I will be more greedy so I can meet the Busan’s fans expectations.
