Busan International Seafood and Fisheries Expo to Go On As Scheduled


BUSAN, South Korea — Despite water being polluted by nuclear waste in Japan, the 11th annual Busan International Seafood and Fisheries Expo will go ahead as scheduled. This year’s expo will be the largest in its history.

An official with Busan said 362 companies from 23 countries will hold 736 booths at the EXPO from November 21st to the 23rd at in Haeundae Bexco.

Participants from the US, China, Japan and the UK will participate. Experts expect more than 800 foreign buyers will participate.

Another part of the expo, the marine product safe food campaign and consumption promotion activity will be held at the same time.
