BUSAN, South Korea -- The Busan City Tour Bus is becoming a new icon of Busan tourism. 

According to the Busan Tourism Organization, the number of passengers of the city tour bus was 100,000 in the middle of June and 130,550 in the August, a 22.8 percent increase from last year. 

The number of tourists on the city tour bus has increased rapidly after two open-top buses were added in 2010. The number of passengers significantly increased from 85,263 in 2009 to 144,000 in 2010 after the open-top buses were introduced. 

The open-top tour bus was introduced for the first time in Busan.
