Bukhang Bridge to Open April 11th

BUSAN, South Korea – After seven years of construction, Busan’s Bukhang bridge will be opened on the 11th of April.

Busan city and Bukhang I-Bridge, the primary contractor for construction of the bridge, said it will start a 5-month test operation for free. The project will be completed on the 11th of April.

Bukhang bridge is 3,331 kilometers long, and crosses Busan Buk-port, spanning from Cheonghak-dong of Yeongdo-gu to Gamman-dong of Nam-gu. The bridge is composed of a 1,114-kilometer cable-stayed bridge and a 2,217-kilometer approach bridge.
