BIFF Unveils its Meet and Greet Schedule

BUSAN, South Korea -  As the releases of the main official program selections and guests have heated the festival offerings over the last few weeks, the Busan International Film Festival unveiled the guests and their schedules for the festival’s special events; Meet the Guests: Talk to Talk, Outdoor Greeting Event and Open Talk.

BIFF general ticketing also begins tomorrow at 9 a.m. at all Busan Bank outlets around the city. Internet ticketing can also be done via Daum, but be prepared for some hassles as they ask for verification using e-mail, and your passport number for non-residents. Special communication about diverse topics- Meet the Guest: Talk to Talk.

This event offers interactive communications between audiences and guests from various films under a wider variety of topics. The ‘Meet the Guest: Talk to Talk’ will come back to the new venue at the Dureraum Plaza, located in the Busan Cinema Center.

Audience can learn about AND (Asian Network of Documentary) Directors, and foresee the prospect of Korean Animation and experience the Latin American culture. This event will introduce a wide range of topics and guests will promote audience participation through various topics and guests.

? Leading actors and directors of Korean Cinema and European Artists at the Haeundae Beach- Outdoor Greeting Event

Star directors, actors, and actresses, at the Outdoor Greeting Event will exchange and share ideas with the audience. The event will be held at the outdoor stage at the BIFF Village located in Haeundae Beach. This year, the director Kang Hyoung-chul, and actresses from the biggest box-office hit of the year, Sunny, will take part in the Outdoor Greeting Event. The director of The Peach Tree, Ku Hye Sun and casts will participate in the event and Lee Sang-woo, the director of controversial films Father is a Dog and Mother Is a Whore will be ready for the Outdoor Greeting Event with his latest film, Barbie. Lee Jeong-Hyang and casts from A Reason to Live will return to Busan in the Gala Presentation. In addition, the stars and directors From Seoul to Varanasi, Punch, and European filmmakers will enjoy the Haeundae autumn.
