With fall just around the corner and the temperatures beginning to fluctuate daily, it will be just a few short weeks before the changing of the leaves colors transition into their beautiful autumn hue.
This year, the Busan Weather Agency predicts that the first autumn colors will be one or two days later than usual in Busan and Gyeongnam.
It is expected that the time when mountains begin to change from a lush green to about 20 percent color at the peak of the mountains will be around October 9th in Jiri Mountain, October 14th in Gaya Mountain, October 25th in Gaji Mountain and October 27th in Geumjeong Mountain.
Peak foliage in South Korea is mid-October, but the fall colors can be seen right into early November.
