The Busan International Fireworks are proceeded to go on as scheduled according to local sources.


UPDATED 5:11pm -- According to Busan Ilbo, the Fireworks have been postponed until 8 p.m. tomorrow.


UPDATED 4:26pm - According to YTN, the Fireworks have been moved to a 9 p.m. start.


BUSAN, South Korea -- For those curious if the Busan International Fireworks Festival will be canceled, they haven't -- yet. According to the Busan Ilbo as of 10:21 a.m., the 8th International Fireworks show will go on as scheduled.

According to festival organizers, from 3-6 p.m., heavy wind and 5-10 mm of rain will fall, but conditions will improve by 8 p.m., the shows starting time. City officials also added for those in attendance to bring raincoats instead of umbrellas to avoid obstructing other's views.

All events, including the street parade and concerts are to continue as expected for now.
