Sonic Boom's Comeback Comes up Short Against Samsung

The KT Sonic Boom's second half comeback fell short against Samsung to drop the club to 1-4 on the season.

SEOUL, South Korea -- The KT Sonic Boom erased a 19 point halftime deficit but came up short in the end, losing to Samsung 72-66 Wednesday night at Jamsil Stadium.

Seo Jang-hoon scored 17 points and added 8 rebounds, while Jasper Johnson played his most inspiring ball of the season, scoring 12 points and adding eight rebounds, but the Sonic Boom's rally came just a little short.

Bryan Davis's tip-in with 47.8 seconds left gave Samsung a 67-64 advantage, but KT committed a costly turnover on the next possession before Lee Jung-suk's three pointer with 16 seconds remaining iced the game for Samsung. Davis led Samsung with 24 points.

KT next plays at home Friday night vs. the SK Knights.
