SK Wins Game 5 to Advance to KBO Finals

It's another disappointing end to the season for Lotte, losing the last two games of the series and a chance at the league title.

INCHEON, South Korea -- The SK Wyverns came back from a two games to one deficit to defeat the Lotte Giants and advance to the finals against Samsung with a 6-3 victory in the fifth and deciding game of the series.

After jumping out to a 3-0 lead in the second, SK responded with two runs in the bottom of the second before tying the game in the bottom of the fourth.

In the fifth, two costly errors allowed SK to take a two run lead, before adding an insurance run in the seventh.

Both starters, Shane Youman for Lotte and Kim Gwang-hyun were chased early, as Youman only lasted 3 1/3 innings to Kim's 1 1/3.

SK now moves on to Daegu to play the league leading Samsung Lions, with the series beginning Wednesday at 6 p.m.
