Promoting cutting-edge port technologies by inviting port officials from sister cities

The BFIA is organizing a workshop inviting port officials from sister cities from June 9 to 17. Port officials from 13 sister cities including Shanghai, Surabaya, Dubai and Ho Chi Minh will participate in the workshop. The workshop will take place at the Institute of APEC Collaborative Education and it will be given in English. It mainly covers special lectures focused on Busan's ubiquitous port system, and also offers case studies and workshops.

This workshop for sister city officials was first held in 2009 and has now expanded to cover various fields including the IT, film and image, and now the port industries. The workshop plays an important role in promoting the progress of Busan and increasing exchanges with sister cities.
