Motorcycle Rider's Test for Expats to be Held on May 30, 2012

A multilingual motorcycle test will be held on the 30th for motorcycle riders who need to get a new license.

BUSAN, South Korea - Busan Nambu Police Station will hold a motorcycle driver’s test for expats in Busan, including for multicultural families, international students, and foreign workers. A lecture to help them to prepare for the test, as well as a knowledge test and riding test, will all be held on the same day.   

Test Outline
○ Date & Time: 9am, Wednesday, May 30, 2012
○ Venue: Busan Nambu Driver's License Test Center
○ Free textbook will be sent to applicants by email.  
○ Available languages: English, Vietnamese, Thai, Chinese, Indian and Korean
○ Knowledge test: True/False Questions (a score of over 60 is required, to pass the test)
○ What to bring: alien registration card, 3 photographs of the applicant (3x4cm)
○ Fee: 19,000 won (physical examination 4,000 won, knowledge test 4,000 won, driving test 5,000 won, issuing of a license 6,000 won)

Date: until May 28, 2012
Please register by email sending the applicant’s name, their name in English, their nationality, alien registration number, and email address, in order to receive the textbook, to mson71@hanmail.net or by visiting the Busan Nambu Police Station (Foreign Affairs Section) in person.
