Marine Sports Center now open in Songjeong, offering scuba diving and jet-skiing

Haeundae Songjeong Marina recently completed construction of the main marine facilities and the main marine sports building will be completed by the end of this year.

BUSAN, South Korea -- Korea's largest marine sports center, the provisionally named 'Haeundae Songjeong Marina' is now partially open for business. Songjeong Marina, located at the western end of Songjeong Beach is a marine sports complex built to encourage a greater interest in marine sports among local citizens and visitors alike. It recently completed construction of the main marine facilities and the main marine sports building will be completed by the end of this year.
Songjeong Marina has been running marine sports experience and education programs since July, including banana boating, fishing, water skiing, jet skiing, motor boating, scuba diving and snorkeling. Registration for the marine programs is available via the website (www.beachsports.kr) or by visiting the center. Programs will run every day during the summer season, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
