Europe's largest carrier, Lufthansa, has suspended service to Gimhae Airport.

BUSAN, South Korea -- Lufthansa, the only European airliner with service to Gimhae Airport, announced suspension of service to the airport. Some experts believe the reason is the lack of a long distance route infrastructure.

Specifically, the facilities and policies for the passengers boarding first or business class do not suit customer's needs, and the airport does not have a passenger boarding bridge.

The Korea Airports Corporation plans to make the appropriate changes to the airport, as some believe these issues are keeping more airlines from coming to Gimhae.
