Lotte Splits Series With Samsung

After a rainout Friday, the Giants split the remaining two games with Samsung.

BUSAN, South Korea - The Lotte Giants split the weekend series after Friday night's rainout with Samsung at home.

Shane Youman (7-3) was masterful on the mound again Saturday, pitching 6 2/3 shutout ball. He limited the Lions to five hits while striking out three in Lotte's 7-0 win. Hong Seung-hoon was 3-3 with three RBI's.

On Sunday, Song Seung-joon (4-8) lasted only four innings in Samsung's 7-2 win. Kim Ju-chan's fourth homer of theyear, a solo shot in the third was the only bright spot as Samsung exploded for a five run fourth.
