Lotte Giants Win Their Exhibition Opener

The Lotte Giants started off their spring season with a 7-2 win against Doosan.

BUSAN, South Korea - The new look Lotte Giants started their exhibition season on a winning note, defeating the Doosan Bears 7-2 at Sajik Stadium Saturday afternoon.

Go Won-joon pitched five innings, giving up two runs and six hits while striking out one. Lee Seung-ho, Kim Sung-ho and Lee Kyung-woo pitched four innings of scoreless relief.

With Lotte down 2-1 in the bottom of the sixth, they exploded for four runs, while adding two in the seventh to secure the game.

Park Jung-woo had two hits and two RBIs, while Hwang Jae-kyun also knocked in a pair. Hong Sung-heun and Cho Sung-hwan also had a pair of hits for Lotte.
