KT Hold On For First Win of the Season

The KT Sonic Boom won their first game of the season by holding on to beat last year's league Champs Anyang KGC.

BUSAN, South Korea -- The KT Sonic Boom almost blew an 18 point halftime lead, but managed to hold on to beat Anyang KGC 86-84 in KBL action at the Olleh Victorium Thursday night.

Darian Townes scored 16 points and added 10 rebounds, and Cho Sung-min also chipped in 16 as the Sonic Boom improved to 1-2 on the season.

Juan Patillo scored a game high 35 points for KGC.
