Korea-Japan Art Gallery Exchange Signed

Busan Museum of Art and Nagasaki Museum of Art in Japan have agreed to share each other's collections.

BUSAN, South Korea - Busan Museum of Art and Nagasaki Museum of Art in Japan held a signing ceremony on an exchange agreement at Nagasaki Museum of Art on August 21. The Mayor of Busan, Heo Nam-sik, the Governor of Nagasaki, Nakamura Hodo, and about 40 other VIPs attended the signing ceremony.
Both art museums plan to build an exchange system from various angles, such as for displaying each other's collections, operating education programs, exchanging art museum experts and other personnel, etc.
As a part of the exchange program of both art museums, a 'Korea-Japan Child Art Exchange Exhibition' was held from August 20 to 28 for nine days at Nagasaki Musem of Art, and this was then exhibited from September 2 to 13 at Busan Museum of Art as well.
Nagasaki Museum of Art, with which Busan has entered into an exchange agreement this time, is an important Japanese art museum that was opened in 2005 and is well-known for its beautiful building and outstanding educational program.
