Haps Weekend Picks September 28,29.30

BUSAN, South Korea -- Chuseok weekend has arrived on the peninsula, as the city rests up before BIFF takes over everything from Haeundae to Nampo.

Lots of great music highlights this weekend, as well as some all-you-can-drink specials and traditional events for the holidays. The holiday falls on a Sunday this year, and traffic is expected to be worse with families squeezing visits into three days from the usual five.

Millstone Grit @ Rockhouse - Bands 2.0, The Bankrupts, Yellow Loko and Millstone Grit bring their rock sound to Seomyeon for an evening of great music. Friday, 9 p.m., Rockhouse, Seomyeon.

Metal Party @ Club Realize - Metal-heads unite at Club Realize for a night of great rock music and revelry. Saturday, 10 p.m., Club Realize, KSU.

All-You-Can-Drink @ HQ Jangsan - Get your drink on tonight with an all-you-can-drink marathon at HQ Jangsan. Friday, 6 p.m., HQ Jangsan, Haeundae.

All-You-Can-Drink Chuseok Party @ Soul Trane - If you're in the PNU area, Soul Trane is the place to be for good times and good spirits. Friday, 8 p.m., Soul Trane, PNU.

Sharky's Chuseok Breakout @ Sharky's - Head on out to Sharky's H Town to try the newest appetizers to hit the menu, as well as a night of great tunes by Anthony Garcia and Outlier. Through October 3rd, 6 p.m., Sharky's, Haeundae.

Busan Biennale - Under the theme "Garden of Learning", the Busan Biennale showcases some of the best art at museums around the city. Through November, 10 a.m., citywide.

Special Chuseok Performance @ Busan National Gugak Center - Get into the Chuseok spirit with some traditional Korean music and dance, which is free if you dress up in a hanbok. Saturday, 4 p.m., Busan National Gugak Center.
