Busan City to Expand Tourism and Economic Exchanges with Beijing, Ningbo

Busan City is expected to activate tourism and economic exchanges with Beijing and Ningbo in China.

BUSAN, South Korea -- Busan Mayor Hur Nam-sik promoted Busan City's strength as a tourism destination to other world-renowned tourism cities participating at the founding summit of the World Tourism Cities Federation which was held from September 14-15 in Beijing, China and received a very positive response. A public information booth was operated at the WTCF Expo jointly by Busan City and the Busan Convention & Visitors Bureau.
In addition, Busan City was officially invited to the 1st China Marine Economy Investment Fair, held from September 14-17 in Ningbo, China, and four delegates including the Vice Mayor of Economic Affairs, Lee Young-hwal, attended the fair. Busan City suggested organizing a conference to discuss further exchanges & cooperation related to the marine economy, between the two cities.
