Lighting Festival at The Garden of Morning Calm

Garden of Morning Calm, Gyeonggi-do

With over 30,000 lights illuminating the gardens, it’s hailed as the biggest festival of lights in Korea. With nine main gardens all lit with gorgeous themes, it’s sure to be a perfect place for families or dates.

Time: Weekdays & Sundays 11:00-21:00 / Saturdays & National holidays 11:00-23:00

Event: From December 2nd through March 26, 2017

Bucheon Aiins World – World Nightview Fantasy Lighting Festival

Bucheon, Gyeonggi-do

Aiins World, a miniature theme park in Bucheon is considered one of the best places to check out a light show in the country.

Time: 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Admission: 16,000 won for adults, 13,000 won for children

Event: Through December 31

Chuncheon Lake Starlight Nation Festival

Chuncheon, Gangwon-do

A small, but fun light festival illuminates the city at Uiamho Lake, Gongjicheon Sculpture Park, Uiam Park, Chuncheon MBC and KT&G Sangsang Madang.

Time: 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Admission: Free
