BUSAN, South Korea — You may have seen stickers bearing the slogan “All Black Everything” plastered around town as of late. You may felt have confused. You may have existentially broke down and asked yourself, "What does it all mean?" Well here's your answer, and it's a lot more than just a slick Jay-Z lyric.
This Friday, April 1st, The Better Magic Music Co. returns with its biggest party since the Funked Up & Souled Out series. All Black Everything lands at Gwangan's newest and most beautiful club, 3F, and promises to be one of the biggest parties this season.
Having enlisted the help of both Doogie Hwang, owner of Enoch Mansion and DJ veteran in Busan, as well as Bak Min, former manager/promoter of Club Foxy Seomyeon and Elune at Paradise Hotel, this club is no joke. With two floors and a chic, all-white decor, the club has a cruise ship feeling that offers incredible panoramic views of the Diamond Bridge and the beach. A massive window wraps around the back and side of the club, draped with an ultra-modern tapestry unto which three huge projectors display visuals to complement the sound. Minimal and modern, 3F is about to heat up for the spring and summer seasons. April marks the clubs grand re-opening and to help usher in a new era of dancefloor mayhem, they've sought out the help of Busan's perennial party-boys.
Alongside 3F's seasoned residents, Better Magic DJ's Big Boy Gibbs, Bruce Russell & Splitkick will control the tempo of the night with a master-blend of tech house, straight electro and mash-up, and they'll also be unveiling their brand new single, Bonko. But make no mistake about it, despite the club's all-white interior, this is no April Fool's joke; the dresscode for the night is all black and classy. A chance for club-goers to get decked out & dolled up and enjoy superb sounds in an elegant, sleek environment.
Entrance is 10,000 won, but to get on the guestlist and receive free entry, all you have to do is email Better Magic Music with your name. Party starts at 10:00pm.
