A Busan official said that the city will hold the 8th Busan Port Festival in and around the Korea National Maritime Museum from May 29-31.
The festival is held to promote the Busan Port and spread awareness of maritime culture and safety. The event is jointly hosted by the city of Busan, the Busan Regional Oceans & Fisheries Administration, and the Busan Port Authority. Also it is run by the organizing committee for the Busan Culture and Tourism Festival.
At this year’s festival, a total of 24 programs will be operated with the support of 30 maritime institutions and corporations.
