BUSAN, South Korea -- The Gimhae Immigration Office released a new study showing that last year more than 4.7 million people came to Busan from another country or left Busan to a foreign country through Gimhae airport. 

Of the roughly 4.7 mil people who left or came to the country via Gimhae, almost 2.4 mil passengers entered the country while more than 2.3 mil passengers exited the country. 

That is a 13.1 percent increase compared to 4.2 mil people who entered the airport from a foreign country, or left the airport for a foreign country in 2012.
