~ 갑니까? [ gamnikka ]

It was 가주세요 for taxi last week, and this week’s lesson is for the bus. If you want to make sure the bus is going to the stop where you want, you can use this expression to the driver or someone around you before getting on the bus. Here, it means ‘(does this bus) go to ~‘. The subject is so obvious it is omitted.

ex) 해운대 갑니까? (Does this bus go to Haeundae?)

You can use a different subject in different situations, too. But it is also omitted often.

지금 학교가니? (Are you going to school now?)

우리 어디 갑니까? (Where are we going?)
